Wedding & Private Parties Planner

We’re looking for a Weddings and Private Parties Planner to take on a newly-created role in our independent, family-owned hotel...

…and what a time to join. We’ve been refurbishing our hotel resort for the best part of five years and, having recently finished our final phase, we’re now reaping the rewards. It’s a fabulously exciting time for us, and we know we can’t rest on our laurels now that the refurb work is complete.



We’re looking for a Weddings and Private Parties Planner to join our Sales & Marketing team. Aside from working well with the rest of the team, which we think should be a given, your main responsibilities will be:

· Working closely with the Sales Office Manager in the delivery of our newly-created wedding options

· Conducting exceptional show-rounds for potential wedding couples

· Creating tailor-made proposals based on the client's requirements

· Demonstrating a real enthusiasm for all things wedding-related

· Creating events sheets with strong attention to detail

· Communicating effectively with our operational department

· Proactively chasing enquires and building strong relationships with clients


We’re a friendly bunch who live and breathe hospitality…so it would be great if you felt the same. You don’t need to have worked in the hotel industry, but you will need to have experience working in a sales environment. You’ll also need to have experience of working on events from enquiry to the execution stage, with a real passion for exceeding expectations. Fabulous attention to detail is key.

The nitty-gritty...

LOCATION: Tewkesbury Park, Gloucestershire, GL20 7DN

SALARY: £22,000 per annum

HOURS: 40 hours per week, to include weekends, evening viewings and wedding days.

GREAT RANGE OF BENEFITS: 20 paid holiday days, plus 8 bank holidays; a guaranteed day off to celebrate your birthday; company sick pay after qualifying period; meals whilst working an 8-hour shift; clothes allowance; free use of hotel’s gym and health club facilities, including fitness classes, if you fancy.

Chef De Partie

We have a vacancy within the kitchen team.

As Chef de Partie you will be an experienced professional and be able to run your own section as well as assisting the Senior Chefs in all aspects of running the kitchen- you will be part of a team that strives for excellence.

Kitchen Porter

We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team.

The Kitchen Porter’s duties will include:

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.

Collect and wash up pots and pans.

Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.

Unload food and equipment deliveries.

Keep the storeroom organised.

Keep outside bin area tidy

Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

In addition to keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, the Kitchen Porter may be involved in some food preparation like peeling potatoes or unwrapping ingredients etc.

Use of leisure facilities, golf, and gym.
Meals on duty and uniform provided.
